Osloer Straße 110 is centrally located in Berlin-Wedding between the Osloer Straße underground station and the Bornholmer Straße S-Bahn station, the former border crossing between West and East Berlin.
The classic old building in Osloer Strasse is a residential and commercial building with 26 residential and three commercial units dating from 1910. Wedding is one of Berlin’s liveliest neighbourhoods with the greatest cultural diversity. A diverse mix of shops from various supermarkets to vegetable merchants to Turkish bakeries and various cafés and snack bars show the colourful mixture of the inhabitants. In addition to the Gesundbrunnen-Center with over 100 shops, there are small fashion studios in the side streets or a bookstore with a café as a cultural meeting point.
As varied as the gastronomic and business offerings are, so varied are the leisure activities: from fitness studio, indoor swimming pool, the children’s museum Labyrinth and a family library to cultural highlights in the Uferstudios or the cinema Alhambra, Wedding has something to offer for every taste. Everything can be found in the immediate vicinity and can easily be reached on foot or by tram, bus or underground.
Almost inconspicuously, the little river Panke runs from Osloer Straße through the quarter and invites you to walk or jog along its banks with footpaths and cycle paths. Only a little further away you can spend hours in the green of the nearby Volkspark Humboldthain in the middle of the city or enjoy the sun in the summer bath during the warm season. From the observation tower in the park you have a wonderful view over the city.
Wedding – the northernmost part of Berlin Mitte and in the immediate vicinity of the trendy district of Prenzlauer Berg – is rising in popularity. It attracts young people in particular because of its optimal location, the colourful atmosphere and the comparatively low rents. The district is also particularly attractive due to its proximity to the Charité Clinic Campus and the renowned Beuth University with its international courses of study.
