D&H’s first project in Potsdam is designed as a villa-like development. Located on a spacious piece of land along Georg-Hermann-Allee directly adjoining beautiful Volkspark Potsdam, the architecture of the “AM PARK” ensemble fits completely into the traditional cityscape.
The 5 residential buildings and their relaxed arrangement enclose a private garden in the project’s wide courtyard, which offers plenty of space for common rooms and leisure activities. Timeless outfitting features are presented using high-quality, classic materials in warm colors. In the living room areas, oak parquet is used. Tall doors create a spacious feeling of space and enable flowing transitions between individual living zones. Solid walls are plastered and given a light coat of paint; no other decoration is applied.
Timeless use of materials is also foregrounded in the bathrooms. Large-format white-beige tiles are laid on walls and floors.
