The story of Princess Cheesecake began in the small shop on the quiet Tucholskystrasse in Mitte. This is open since 2011 by owner Conny Suhr. The small café is enchanted by bright, French-style furniture. In the summer, you’ll be happy if you snag a seat in front of the shop to enjoy your cake with a cappuccino in the sun. Through a pane of glass, guests can even watch the cake-baking process in the café.
The offshoot in West Berlin has been around since spring 2018. Between the busy Ku’damm and Savignyplatz, you can find Princess Cheesecake here on Knesebeckstrasse, which is also quieter. The guest room is spacious and open. Delicate rosé tones and marble dominate the design and the selection of cakes is clearly displayed here in a long, glass display case. The Charlottenburg branch also offers a few seats outside in good weather and is one of the best places for sweets lovers..

Do you want delicious ice cream, fabulous eclairs and do you value quality? Then Canal Berlin is the right place for you. It all started with a small ice cream maker in Daniella and Lupe’s kitchen, inherited from their grandfather. The two friends met while studying engineering, shared a flat and became good friends. Together, with the ice cream machine in their luggage, the two traveled to Germany to pursue their passion here: good food of excellent quality.
When you see and taste the eclairs, it’s hard to believe that Daniella and Lupe aren’t French. The creations, each more beautiful than the next, are all made by hand. There is not only a lot of love in the delicious dessert, but also a lot of time and energy. Canal Berlin has so far only had a small oven that can only bake 20 eclairs at a time. Candied nuts, fresh berries, meringue crowns, wafer-thin chocolate chips – there are no limits to creativity.
For all those whose mouths are watering, here is a little consolation: Canal Berlin is represented with a stand at the Breakfast Market in Markthalle Neun. The homemade eclairs are selling there. So if you fancy the pretty pastries outside of the regular eclair season (October to the end of March), you should definitely pay a visit to Markthalle Neun on Sunday.

When you go to Bella’s Café on Torstrasse, you put on rose-colored glasses: it’s well styled: lots of pink and pink – a bit fluffy. There are velvet chairs and velvet pillows.
