Wedding is one of the central districts of Berlin connecting the East and West of the city. Despite many park and green areas, Wedding is considered one of the most densely populated districts of Berlin. The largest public park is ‘ Volkspark Rehberge’ followed by ‘Volkspark Humboldthain’ with one of the most beautiful observation points in the city and ‘Schillerpark’.

Wedding has three subway lines (U6, U8, U9) and four S-Bahn lines, including the S41 / S42 ring lines. Moreover, there is a tram that runs between Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg. The Berlin Ring ends at Seestraße. There you can find the big and important train station Gesundbrunnen for long-distance trains (RE3, RE5, RB20, RB66).
Muellerstrasse is a well-known shopping street in Wedding. Besides big department stores you will find here many small shops. ‘Gesundbrunnen Center’ is an additional shopping center right at the junction of Brunnenstrasse / Gesundbrunnenstrasse.
